Lilith The First Woman
Lilith The First Woman
Lilith is the most notorious demon in Jewish tradition. In some sources, she is conceived of as the original woman, created even before Eve. Lilith means “the night,” and she embodies the emotional and spiritual aspects of darkness: sensuality, and unbridled freedom.
The origin of Lilith can be traced back to the ancient Mesopotamia era to tablets associated with the Epic Gilgamesh, the similar demonic creates can be connected to the inspiration of the Jewish creation of Lilith.
